Finally!

I've been wanting a cloche for several months now but I just haven't found one in my price range. Well that all changed last Saturday when I came across this baby at a flea market!!

I love it! I think it was well worth the 5$ I spent on it, don't you? I'm envisioning a standalone cupcake for special birthdays, Christmas ornaments.... really the possibilities are endless!

What's inside it you ask, well thats apricots and peaches that the hubs Beba (grandma) gave to me along with some zucchini I plan on making a cake with (I'll post the recipe later! :-])

personalized knife block

When me and Matt got married last year his mother gave us a knife block as part of our wedding present. I really liked it but I thought it needed something to make it more me and less generic... after thinking about what I could do with it I decided to spray paint it red to match my kitchen and I have to say, I'm in love with the results! It's amazing what a little bit of paint can do. I'm still thinking about putting a vinyl T on the front.
